I have been involved with 3 Strikes for some time and know that the reason for the problems with horses now in our possession are not starvation. They have likely been exposed to intentional poisoning, infection by other BLM horses transferred to 3 Strikes from the White Mountain area where infectious disease was known to exist. Those of you involved know that independent testing is being done by several University Equine Medical Centers around the country. The truth will eventually be known and it is my personal belief that once the real causes are determined, there are going to be a lot of embarrassed public officials who refused to help by testing, and treating many of these sick horses. Don't you just hate the truth and the facts, those pesky little creatures. This may also end up being a lawyers feeding frenzy. I hope so.
